NeuroMetrix Receives FDA Clearance For SENSUS

   Waltham, Massachusetts  --  NeuroMetrix (NASDAQ: NURO) said that it has received 510(k) marketing clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration for its pain management device.

Called SENSUS, device uses a disposable electrode to act as an electrical nerve stimulator intended for chronic pain in the lower leg and foot.

The company says it will launch the new device before the end of 2012.
