Aurea Launches After Completed Acquisitions

   Austin, Texas  --  Aurea Software has announced the successful acquisition of four Progress Software businesses and its launch of global operations as a combined entity.

Aurea provides enterprises with a suite of intelligent business process, application and data management services across cloud, mobile and social platforms.

The company combined operations of Savvion, Sonic, Actional and DataXtend SI to create the new firm.

Aurea is headed by enterprise software industry executive Scott Brighton, formerly of Trilogy Enterprises.
