Appconomy Adds Venture Capital Investment

   Austin, Texas  --  Mobile developer Appconomy has secured $5.87 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC filing.

Appconomy sells mobile applications and components as well as application commerce capabilities.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Amounts included the cancellation conversion of certain convertible promissory notes.

Appconomy is still seeking $133,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.
