Xtera Launches Networking Solution For SMEs

Dallas, Texas  --  Xtera Communications has announced the launch of a new network efficiency appliance.

Called the XteraLink 300, the product is deployed on the border between enterprise intranets and the Internet, cost-effectively bonding multiple Internet links into virtual pipes to provide bandwidth aggregation and fault tolerance.

The system has a maximum throughput of 300 Mb per second, with built-in firewalls for protection against various denial of service attacks.
