AppFirst Adds Second Venture Capital Financing

   New York, New York  --  Software developer AppFirst has garnered $8.7 million in its second round of venture capital funding.

AppFirst is developing solutions that help businesses become proactive in monitoring their deployed software.

Safeguard Scientifics made the investment.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
