AppDynamics Closes $50 Million Venture Capital Round

   San Francisco, California  --  Software developer AppDynamics has secured $50 million in its Series D round of institutional venture capital funding.

AppDynamics has created application performance management technologies that provide problem resolution services for highly distributed applications.

Institutional Venture Partners led the round, which also included Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The company said it would use the proceeds to expand its sales and marketing initiatives.
