OpenSocial Launches Social Standards Effort

   Cupertino, California  --  The OpenSocial Foundation said that it will launch a new effort to release a next generation social application toolkit.

The effort will focus on streamlining and simplifying interoperability between social applications.

The Foundation was created in 2008 with the purpose of centralizing a standards process for SaaS-delivered social business applications.
