Toshiba To Launch Fastest MicroSD Cards

   Tokyo, Japan  --  Toshiba Corp. (TOKYO:6502) announced the pending launch of what it claims is the world's fastest microSD memory card.

The new cards will be sold in 32GB and 64GB capacities and will be compliant with the UHS-II serial bus interface standard.

Toshiba said the new cards will have a write speed 8 times faster than its current UHS-I cards.

Sample shipments are now available for mobile device manufacturers and chipset vendors.
