Airware Lands $25 Million Venture Capital Funds

   San Francisco, California  --  Drone technology company Airware has secured $25 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Airware develops customizable autopilot technologies for a variety of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round, which included previous investors Andreessen Horowitz and First Round Capital.

The company will use the capital to expand its staff and prepare for the launch of its Aerial Information Platform.
