Camas, Washington  --  Sharp Electronics announced the launch of a new energy storage solution.

Called SmartStorage, the system keeps electric energy used by commercial and industrial buildings stored in reserve to be used during high demand periods.

In addition to hardware, the system employs demand prediction capabilities in order to limit a facility's demand during peak periods based on the occupant's requirements.

SmartStorage can be used as a stand-alone solution or deployed with a solar-electric installation.
