1000Museums Nets Venture Capital Debt

   New York, New York  --  Digital media technology company 1000Museums has secured $500,000 in venture capital debt investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

1000Museums has created a destination for users to discover museums, exhibitions and artists.  Visitors may also purchase original art and reproductions through the site.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

1000Museums is still seeking $1 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
