ALung Garners Venture Capital Equity

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Medical device company ALung Technologies has landed $9.5 million in venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

ALung develops gas exchange devices for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory disorders.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

ALung is still seeking $1.7 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
